Ivan says:

In February 2020 I was in Iceland, that morning I was driving south, and from the road, I noticed on the Fjallsárlón glacier a beautiful light. So I decided to go there to visit it, once I arrived, there was that beautiful rainbow rising majestically above the glacier. Te low light of the morning sun typical of the Icelandic winter had created this phenomenon through the fog on the blue ice creating a unique color contrast between the colors. Nature, as if it were a painter and a sculptor at the same time, paints the rainbow with its pastel shades and sculpts the particular textures of the ice. This glacier is also subject to climate change; all of Iceland’s glaciers are retreating at an unprecedented rate.

After studying chemical engineering and working in IT, I discovered a passion for wildlife photography at some point in 2010. In 2014, after winning a major international award, I decided to pursue this as a full-time job and I think it was the best choice I could make. In recent years I have received many important awards in nature photography, especially for landscape.
