I’m Peter van der Veen, born in 1981 in the Netherlands, and I have loved animals since childhood. My parents were avid photographers, and they introduced me to the world of photography from a young age.
As I grew older, I wanted to experience animals up close and more frequently. The best way to do that, I found, was through photography. And that’s where it all began.
I particularly enjoy photographing in Europe, especially in Scandinavia. I simply love being outdoors and capturing the beauty of nature.
