Frank Jacobs says:
During my photo trip to Kuusavo, Finland, in March 2025, I had the chance to capture a small stoat darting through the snow. It was a magical moment: the animal moved swiftly, weaving back and forth across the white landscape in search of food. Its sleek white winter coat blended almost perfectly with the snow, making it both a challenge and a thrill to track with my camera. Every pause, every sudden leap offered a fleeting opportunity to press the shutter, and the combination of speed, light, and the sheer beauty of this tiny creature made the encounter unforgettable. After this trip, I still call it my “Little Star.”

I started taking photos while traveling, usually by taking random snapshots along the way. My true interest in photography began almost accidentally, when I borrowed a friend’s camera with a macro lens. Discovering the world’s tiny details through that perspective fascinated me immensely.
From that moment on, I became increasingly passionate about capturing the beauty of birds and nature, and gradually delved deeper into the wonderful world of photography. Even today, I still take photos during my travels, but now I focus more on capturing the unique character and atmosphere of each place I visit.
For me, photography is primarily a way to relax and savor the moment after a busy workday.
