Simon Biddie says:
Upon arriving at the sandbars around Grand Cayman before sunrise, a storm was brewing. Standing in the shallows, aiming for a split shot to capture both the above- and below-water scenes, southern stingrays (Hypanus americanus) swam along the sandbar. As the sun rose and the storm passed, a rainbow appeared, while below the surface, a southern stingray glided across the sandy ocean floor. This photo was taken using an underwater housing and a fisheye lens with a large dome aperture to capture both the above- and below-water scenes.
