I took this photo in Iceland, on the Snæfellsnes peninsula which is located in the western region of Borgarfjörður, in the west of Iceland. When I took this image I could strongly feel the elements of nature: a wind storm, a blizzard, the rough sea and the presence of the birds made the landscape of haunting and poignant beauty.
This image is special for me, it represents for me a moment of great intimacy and great belonging to nature.
I believe that photography gives us the incredible opportunity to share a message of essential beauty which I think nowadays we need more than everything. We are Nature, we must preserve it for a better future.

I was born in Sardinia, the land where I grew up and still live. I took my first steps in the dark room in the 90s, but I began to focus my attention on the landscape photography in 2009. Graduated in business administration, but always with an eye to the nature of my wild and fascinating island Sardinia.
I escape most urbanized areas in search for uncontaminated places. I am convinced that the development of an idea through the realization of a project, is the most powerfull way to convey my vision and my emotions. Actually my most important project is “WildSardinia”: the story of a team of 3 international photographers that want to resume Sardinia in images, telling the landscapes, the seasons and the lights of this special island.
