While photographing white-tailed eagles along Norway’s central coast near Flatanger, I noticed that herring gulls often flew close to the boat, unbothered by our presence. Their boldness was remarkable, they would even perch on my hat! Seizing the opportunity, I switched to a wide-angle lens and captured this unique shot while one perched confidently on my head, resulting in a striking and unconventional perspective.

Birds and mountains are my greatest passions, and capturing them through photography has become my specialty. My determination to seize every opportunity nature presents has shaped me into an all-purpose photographer, always ready to make the most of wildlife moments and their habitats.
Completely self-taught, I have relied on nature and the countryside as my classroom. The guidance of accomplished photographers, who are now my friends, combined with countless hours studying bird behavior, has led to deeply rewarding results. For me, the experience of heading into the field, settling into a hide, and observing nature unnoticed is one of life’s most breathtaking and humbling moments.
I am a proud member of AEFONA (Spanish Association of Nature Photographers), FONAMAD (Association of Nature Photographers of Madrid), and SEO (Spanish Society of Ornithology). Additionally, I work as a photography travel guide and serve as the coordinator of the photographic travel section for IEST Viajes.
