Enter the NPOTY CONTEST till September 16th 23:59h

For the third time in a row we’d like to welcome you to join the Nature Photographer of the Year competition, powered by Nature Talks Photo Festival in the Netherlands. We kindly invite professional and non-professional photographers, of all ages, from all over the world, to join our contest this year. We believe that we can show the beauty of nature worldwide by sharing the most amazing images you all make. If we learn to love nature, we’ll also protect her.

When you enter this nature photography contest you have the chance to become the Nature Photographer of the Year 2018 and win great prizes. But that’s nog all, you’ll also support nature conservation. We have founded the Nature Talks Foundation (Stichting Nature Talks) to work with and support other natureconservation organisations in the Netherlands and Belgium. So join today, show us your stunning images, become the Nature Photographer of the Year 2018 and also help nature.
 
You can join four categories of the contest:

1.  “Standard”: categories C1 to C9. Images can be uploaded as soon as you’ve paid the amount of 25 euros online. After you’ve paid you can upload and change images until the 16th of September;
2.  “Young”: category C10. Young photographers between 10-17 years do not have to pay to enter the competition; you should not be 18 years on the 16th of September 2018;
3. “Portfolio”: category C11. Images for this portfolio category can be uploaded when the amount of 15 euros has been paid online for the Fred Hazelhoff Award. After you’ve paid you can upload and change images until the 16th of September; 
4. “Standard + Portfolio” categories C1 to C9 + category 11. Images can be uploaded when the amount of 40 euros has been paid online. After you’ve paid you can upload and change images until the 16th of September 

In total, 20 images may be submitted for categories 1 – 9 with no maximum per category. Young photographers may send in 5 images maximum.
For the Fred Hazelhoff Portfolio Award 8-12 photos may be submitted.

The award ceremony wil be during our yearly Nature Talks Photo Festival on the 10/11th of November 2018 in the Netherlands. We will show all the runners up, categorie winners and the overall winner, the Nature Photographer of the Year 2018! The winning images will also be in a photo exhibition on the festival before this exhibition will be traveling through the Netherlands and Belgium.
