Many fallen leaves are accumulating in the tropical rainforest of Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province. In humid and stuffy environments, fallen leaves become the nourishment for various plants and fungi. I see many small mushrooms growing on the fallen leaves. When the sun shines on the fallen leaves at the edge of the rainforest, I place the camera on the ground to shoot and use the camera’s real-time framing function to focus. Drifting dead leaves fall at the roots of trees and eventually turn into soil. All life has a certain destination. The birth of small mushrooms is another way for deciduous life to present itself, which is also a manifestation of the beauty and fragility of life.
