Jens says:
South Iceland, Vatnajökull Glacier: Broken ice chunks float to the Atlantic coast and remain on the beach. At night, the ice chunks reflect the moonlight. The cold sculptures, which are up to two meters in size, create a mystical atmosphere. The photograph was taken with a tripod. Because of the long exposure (26 seconds) the waves flow into each other to a soft and silver background. Taking this image was not easy. Because of the waves, the tide and the shifting wind I got really wet feet. But it was worth it.
