Helga says:

Most nature photographs are preceded by envisioning the image and planning. It is a rare gift when nature itself presents the subject. This picture was taken at such a moment. It was late autumn, the trees were still colorful, but it was cold enough for the rain to fall in the form of snow. I was on my way back home from one of my usual photo trips in the Bükk mountain, when the sight made me stop. There were three of us sitting in the car, one of my friends was driving. I started shouting to stop right away and then got out of the car. I saw the dense, big snowflakes fall in front of the larch trees. It was all like a pointillist painting. I felt it was so special that I had to take a photo immediately.

I’m Helga Urbán from Hungary, Miskolc. I have been photographing since my childhood. The love of nature dates back even earlier, I can not remember how it started, but so far has accompanied my life. Therefore I chose my profession, I graduated from the University of Debrecen, Department of Biology. Photography for me is the activity that breaks through the monotony of everyday life, which is reassuring, and I can show it to others how I see the world.
